Abstract
Introduction: Muscle relaxation or induction may be the oldest treatment in history for soft tissue injuries. The rules of treatment have not changed, however, a philosophical framework and treatment plan have been developed.
Objective: To compare the therapeutic effects of the approach using Myofascial® Induction techniques and MFI® Instrumental Fascial Manipulation techniques on the flexibility of the posterior tonic chain, functional tests and posture in the treated patients, in the Danessi clinic, in 2020.
Methodology: Descriptive design, this was due to the fact that an observation comparison of the phenomena occurred was made depending on the technique used. For the same, about 10 records of patients of both sexes were used. The sampling was of a non-probabilistic type for convenience, because only the records of patients with the aforementioned characteristics will be taken into account. A clinical-kinetic data collection sheet was used, where it was possible to identify the therapeutic effects of the approach using Myofascial® Induction techniques versus MFI® Instrumental Fascial Manipulation techniques on the flexibility of the posterior tonic chain, functional tests and posture in patients.
Results: In this study, two lines of work can be effectively compared. One through Myofascial® Induction and MFI® Instrumental Fascial Manipulation. This study shows that a statistically significant difference in the flexibility of the posterior tonic chain is obtained through the MFI® approach demonstrating greater efficacy.
Conclusion: Better results are obtained through Instrumental Fascial Manipulation,this is related to the fact that a nondeformable surgical steel material is used for the treatment that better transmits the force to the tissues.
